Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Senior Estimator to join the preconstruction and estimating team in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on preparing direct cost and conceptual mechanical estimates, with potential customer-facing duties for select pursuits.

You will apply deep technical costing and risk assessment, mentor other estimators, and collaborate with Preconstruction Managers to ensure pricing accuracy and timely bid delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-10+ years of mechanical estimating experience.
• Advanced understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and process systems.
• Ability to read drawings/specs and assess cost and scope impacts.
• Experience leading bid processes and reviewing estimates.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates including take-offs and subcontractor comparisons.
• Prepare pricing narratives and proposals for major bids.
• Lead estimate reviews and ensure scope alignment.
• Mentor estimators and provide QA/QC on work.
• Support transition of awarded projects to operations teams.
• Maintain market knowledge of labor and material trends.
