MIINC Mechanical Contractors in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for commercial mechanical and plumbing projects. You will review plans, specs, and project requirements to develop accurate, competitive estimates and proposals while mentoring junior estimators.

Collaborate with management, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and project teams to ensure bids are complete and aligned with market conditions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial mechanical and plumbing construction estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and project documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software and electronic takeoff tools.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Lead the estimating process for commercial mechanical and plumbing projects from initial review through final estimate and proposal.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and other project documents to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs using estimating software and other industry tools.
• Analyze project scope and specifications to identify cost requirements, scope gaps, and potential risks.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors to support competitive and accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with management, operations, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to develop successful project proposals.
• Prepare bid summaries, estimates, and supporting documentation for project review.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior estimators.
• Maintain knowledge of material pricing, construction methods, and market conditions to support competitive bidding.
• Assist with estimating-related questions, change orders, and post-bid activities as needed.
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and consistency across estimating documentation and processes.
