Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Gilbert, Arizona, seeks a Chief Estimator - Industrial Electrical to lead the estimating team for industrial facilities projects up to $20M. You will prepare full electrical estimates for new construction and maintenance, coordinating bid activities, and collaborating with project leaders to ensure accurate, timely proposals.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy industrial estimating, strong communication, OSHA training, and travel readiness; HeavyBid experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy industrial or process‑facility cost estimating experience in the Electrical field.
• Ability to estimate all types and sizes of projects with minimal supervision.
• Must have OSHA or equivalent safety training and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimating team for specific projects or regions.
• Coordinate bid meetings and site visits to determine scope and content.
• Review specifications, drawings, and data to prepare complete proposals.
• Incorporate historical data into unit and man-hour estimates.
• Prepare full-scope estimates for small to large projects in a timely manner.
• Provide turnover and technical support for project implementation.
• Review Change Orders and provide estimates as needed.
• Maintain documentation to back up estimate figures.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and others on bids.
• Secure cost-effective material and subcontractor quotes from multiple sources.
• Track RFP submissions and win/loss rates; develop cost databases.
• Support continuous improvement of the bid process.
