Job summary

Thompson Turner Construction is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for pre-engineered and conventional buildings. You will analyze blueprints, proposals, and material costs to support profitable project delivery, coordinating with teams to ensure schedules and safety compliance.

The role requires a 4-year degree in engineering or construction management and 5–7 years of supervisory experience on K-12, municipal, and industrial projects, with strong MS

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in engineering or construction management; experience preferred.
• 5–7 years minimum experience supervising and managing K-12, municipal and industrial projects.
• Proficient with MS Office; strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities of workers on Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and steel structures.
• Analyze specifications to plan procedures, staffing, and schedules.
• Assemble project team and coordinate procurement of tools and materials.
• Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to avoid delays and ensure safety.
• Prepare progress and cost reports; adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specs.
