Job summary

Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Senior Estimator to join our Evansville, IN office. You will lead bid organization, analyze documents, and prepare estimates for heavy civil and underground projects, including mine development.

The role involves traveling to pre-bid meetings, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, supporting technical proposals, and contributing to post-bid work plans and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management required.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, mining, construction or related area.
• Experience with field engineering, estimating, scheduling, and technical writing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and managing the bid process with the Estimating Manager.
• Review bid documents to develop project labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Travel to attend pre-bid meetings and site visits, maintaining client/engineer relationships.
• Consult with suppliers and subcontractors to determine costs.
• Assist with technical proposals, post-bid work plans, procurement, scheduling and cost control.
• Support production tracking and post-job analysis; maintain historical estimate records.
