Brayman Construction Corporation in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a full-time Senior Construction Estimator to manage our estimating process for heavy civil and geotechnical projects. You will lead take-offs, review estimates, and guide junior estimators, ensuring accurate, competitive bids.

You will oversee pre-bid activities, collaborate with operations, and travel to site visits as needed while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating experience in DOT or Federal contract settings.
• Bachelor's degree in business, civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proficiency with the HCSS HeavyBid estimating system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to prioritize estimating tasks and bid dates.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand project plans, specifications, and scope of work.

Responsibilities

• Take-offs and reviews of estimates, ensuring risks are understood.
• Oversee and direct the work of estimators and junior estimators.
• Prepare project overviews and pre-bid information.
• Collaborate with operations to validate methods and pricing.
• Ensure costs estimated are accurate and competitive.
• Travel to pre-bid sites as needed.
