Job summary

ModCorr is looking for an Estimator in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves developing accurate, executable cost estimates for correctional facilities and collaborating closely with engineering and production teams. The right candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and significant estimating experience in construction.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of estimating experience in detention equipment, structural steel, or modular construction.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Procore, BIM/CAD/Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, competitive estimates for detention equipment and building components.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and documents.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
• Incorporate field labor and logistics into estimates.
