Job summary
ModCorr in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Chief Estimator to lead the estimating function for construction, detention equipment, and manufacturing projects. You will manage the estimating team, develop pricing strategies, and collaborate with Preconstruction, Operations, PM, Design/Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and executive leadership.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction estimating, strong leadership, and experience with large, complex projects.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive construction estimating experience preferred.
- 5+ years in a Senior Estimator/Estimating Manager/Chief Estimator leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial/institutional construction and complex scopes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the estimating team and manage workload.
- Develop and review detailed construction estimates across multi-disciplinary projects.
- Evaluate bids, risk, contingencies, and pricing strategies.
