Job summary

Aquatech is seeking an estimat or in Houston to lead costing for complex EPC projects in water and industrial processing. The role emphasizes technical rigor, Excel mastery, and strong vendor coordination across civil, mechanical, and E&I works.

The incumbent will develop and maintain cost estimates, support bid discussions, and ensure accurate data for proposals. This onsite position requires attention to detail and years of estimating experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of estimator experience in civil, mechanical, building, MEP, and E&I.
• Experience with RS Means/Sage (Timberline) estimating software.
• Proficient in Aspen Estimating software.
• Strong cost analysis and vendor quotation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain proposal-specific costing data.
• Obtain vendor/contractor quotes and coordinate with Application Engineers.
• Cross-check quotations against project specs and request revisions if needed.
• Maintain proposal database and quote logs.
• Develop and maintain cost estimates for EPC-related items.
• Prepare material and labor estimates for installation activities.
• Present estimates to Project Manager and management.
• Record actual costs and support bid analysis.
