Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Chief Estimator, Construction and Environmental Services, to lead and mature the company’s estimating and preconstruction efforts.

This senior role covers commercial, federal, civil, infrastructure, environmental remediation, and design-build pursuits with project values from $1M to $200M. You will establish standard tools, review gates, validate assumptions, and collaborate with Operations, Proposal Development, Procurement, and technical teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 15+ years of estimating experience in construction, environmental remediation, infrastructure, or federal projects.
• Experience estimating across a broad value range ($1M–$200M).
• Ability to lead estimates for fixed-price, design-build, and complex pursuits.
• Strong knowledge of means and methods, pricing, escalation, and contingencies.
• Experience developing ROM/conceptual/detailed estimates and reviewing subcontractor quotes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Weston’s estimating and preconstruction discipline across multiple market sectors.
• Own estimate strategy for major, complex opportunities aligning scope, cost, schedule and risk.
• Establish scalable standards, tools, templates, and review gates.
• Lead development and review of ROM, conceptual, parametric, and detailed estimates.
• Validate assumptions, quantities, rates, and risk allowances; review subcontractor pricing.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and technical teams for bid-to-execution handoff.
• Support strategy development with market research and competitive intelligence.
