Job summary

Rogers Electric in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare electrical cost estimates, analyze blueprints, review contracts, and deliver takeoffs for bids. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to define scope and ensure timely, accurate pricing.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of estimating experience in mission-critical electrical construction, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Accubid Anywhere or LiveCount.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of estimating experience in mission critical electrical construction.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and computerized cost data interpretation.
• Familiarity with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount preferred but not required.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines professionally and timely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional and courteous.
• Skilled multitasker—can manage multiple screens and phone conversations simultaneously.
• Proficient in creating, editing, and analyzing Excel, Word, PDF, and PowerPoint documents.

• Review design options and recommend cost-effective, quality solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Senior Estimator

Your Day-to-Day:

• Prepare electrical cost estimates to support bidding and pricing

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• 7-10 years of estimating experience, preferably in mission critical electrical construction
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and computerized cost data interpretation
• Familiarity with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount preferred but not required
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines professionally and timely
