Job summary

Tasman Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead complex earthwork and environmental remediation bids, forecast project viability, and develop competitive, compliant proposals.

The role requires strong collaboration with operations, management, vendors, and clients to secure successful outcomes. The position reports to the EVP of Construction and involves detailed estimating, risk evaluation, and bid development for diverse civil/site projects in Colorado.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating earthwork, remediation, civil/site work.
• Experience with detailed estimates, bid proposals, and change orders.
• Proficiency with PlanSwift or On-Screen Takeoff.
• Strong labor production rates, equipment utilization, and pricing knowledge.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER or ability to obtain within defined period after hire.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating and proposal development for earthwork, civil construction, environmental remediation, excavation, and related projects.
• Review plans, specifications, bid documents, reports, site assessments, and contract requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate risks, pricing, and project logistics; support bid reviews and handoffs to operations.
