Job summary

Tasman seeks a Senior Scientist / Geologist to provide technical leadership on environmental projects, guiding investigations, remediation strategies, and pilot technologies while mentoring project teams.

Office-based with occasional field visits in Colorado. Requires 8+ years in environmental consulting or related fields, strong collaboration with EHS, engineering, and construction teams, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical diploma or university degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting, engineering, remediation, or oil & gas sectors
• Specialized knowledge of environmental investigation and remediation practices
• Experience managing or supporting complex projects and technical programs
• Experience collaborating with EHS, engineering, construction, and project controls teams
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and hold a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex environmental projects and sites
• Review environmental investigations, remediation strategies, and corrective action approaches
• Evaluate and support implementation of innovative remedial technologies and solutions
• Serve as a technical resource for project teams, clients, and leadership
• Mentor and train environmental scientists, geologists, engineers, and project staff
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate technical resources across projects
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold quality standards across projects
• Support development of technical standards and best practices
