Job summary

Tasman is seeking an Environmental Field Scientist III to lead complex remediation and investigation efforts in the Denver area. This role blends field leadership with hands-on project management, data interpretation, and regulatory deliverables.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee field activities, and collaborate with engineers and geologists to solve environmental challenges while upholding safety, quality, and client service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental consulting, remediation, or oil & gas experience.
• Experience leading environmental field investigations and remediation projects.
• Strong understanding of sampling methodologies and data interpretation.
• Experience preparing technical reports and regulatory documentation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; valid driver's license; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex field projects and oversee field teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee field sampling programs.
• Interpret environmental data and develop technical recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory deliverables.
• Mentor Environmental Field Scientists I and II; support project managers.
• Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and subcontractors to deliver projects.
• Maintain safety and quality across field activities.
