Job summary

Metric DCX in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager to lead cost planning for data center projects from concept through construction. You will drive quantity take-offs, bid analysis, subcontractor coordination and value engineering, ensuring accurate, competitive pricing and robust proposals.

You will collaborate with owners, architects and project teams, manage multiple bids, and deliver detailed schedules alongside estimates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience estimating commercial construction projects.
• Experience with hard-bid, design-build and conceptual estimating.
• Knowledge of construction systems, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Experience with self-performed concrete construction.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement and bidding strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage estimates for a range of commercial construction projects.
• Prepare accurate estimates and supporting information from initial enquiry through to tender.
• Complete detailed quantity take-offs, pricing and bid analysis.
• Develop estimates across conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, quotations and pricing.
• Assess bids and ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
