The Senior Estimator in the Critical Infrastructure Group develops accurate quantity takeoffs for complex projects, provides technical guidance, and supports value engineering while collaborating with sales and the Pre-Bid team to shape competitive bids. This role acts as a resource for Estimators I and II, offering coaching and ensuring quality takeoffs, with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in construction or critical infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads quantity takeoffs for complex and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Interprets plans, specifications, notes, and drawings with high accuracy.
• Identifies specialty materials and evaluates options per project specifications.
• Reviews drawings and design concepts to provide material takeoff.
• Proposes cost-saving and lead-time improvements with contractors and internal teams.
• Supports development of advanced bid strategies with the sales team.
• Leads pretakeoff and posttakeoff meetings for scope alignment.
• Coordinates with contractors, engineers, and vendors to resolve material questions.
• Reviews and approves takeoff work by Estimators I and II.
• Provides coaching and development guidance.
• Acts as a technical resource for the estimating team.
• Demonstrates high-level technical expertise.
• Shows strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Leads discussions and provides clear direction.
