Core & Main is seeking a Senior Estimator for the Critical Infrastructure Group. The role develops accurate quantity takeoffs, identifies material options, and supports value engineering for complex infrastructure bids. You will collaborate with sales, pre-bid teams, and contractors to craft competitive strategies.

The Senior Estimator acts as a technical resource, guiding junior staff and ensuring quality takeoff work and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in construction or critical infrastructure.
• Strong track record of performing complex takeoffs.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Leads quantity takeoffs for complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Interprets plans, specs, notes and drawings with high accuracy.
• Identifies specialty materials and evaluates options to meet specs.
• Supports development of advanced bid strategies with the sales team.
• Coaches and guides Estimator I and II personnel; provides technical leadership.
