Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking an experienced commercial construction estimator to manage projects from bid through contract execution, with a focus on interior and retail tenant fit-outs. The role requires strong estimating, scheduling, and client communication skills.

Ideal candidates will have 10–15 years in commercial construction and 8–10 years in estimating, with experience in tenant improvements. Hybrid work schedule and travel are required as needed.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 8–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required.
• Retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.
• Some ground-up construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review construction drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive construction schedules.
• Develop and issue RFIs relating to drawings and bid documents.
• Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors regarding scope, pricing, and terms.
• Interact professionally with clients and subcontractors throughout the estimating and construction process.
• Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
