Pavilion Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to support preconstruction efforts and lead the estimating process for commercial and multifamily projects in Albuquerque. This role requires strong technical estimating skills, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate with owners, consultants, and subcontractors.

You will manage quantity takeoffs, pricing strategy, bid packages, and risk analysis, ensuring accurate, competitive bids while supporting value engineering

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial construction estimating and bidding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead estimates from initial project review through final bid submission.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope, risk and opportunities.
• Develop bid packages and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with project management, operations and business development on pursuit strategy.
• Prepare bid summaries, clarifications, and supporting documentation.
• Support value engineering and alternative solution development.
