Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced commercial construction estimator to manage bids from inception through contract execution. The role focuses on interior and retail tenant fit-outs, requiring strong scheduling, RFIs, and subcontractor negotiations.

Ideal candidates will bring 10–15 years in commercial construction and 8–10 years estimating, with proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work options and travel as needed are included.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required.
• Retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.
• Some ground-up construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Prepare and maintain construction schedules.
• Develop and issue RFIs relating to drawings and bid documents.
• Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors on scope, pricing, and terms.
• Interact professionally with clients and subcontractors throughout the estimating and construction process.
• Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
