CDM Smith is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare design/build and GMP estimates for a variety of projects. You will analyze quotations, evaluate subcontractor bids, and develop scopes with vendors to ensure complete, compliant estimates.

The role requires extensive travel (20%–40%) and at least 8 years of related experience. Strong knowledge of estimating techniques and software is essential, with the ability to guide junior staff and manage bid day activities within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 8 years of related experience expected.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel 20%–40%.

Responsabilités

• Prepares design/build, engineer, construction management, GMP, and hard-bid estimates/proposals.
• Analyzes quotations prior to bid day.
• Evaluates bids from subcontractors and suppliers for scope, delivery, and compliance.
• Enter quantity take-offs and material pricing for projects.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes and review for completeness.
• Manage bid day and close-out activities.
• Provide guidance on estimating procedures and software usage.
