Job summary

The Senior Estimator at Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. will assemble large-dollar bid proposals and oversee an estimator team during proposal development. The role entails following up with clients to close deals and providing ongoing cost estimate support to operations for awarded contracts.

You'll collaborate across project teams on complex bids, ensure accuracy in take-offs, and help transition from pre-construction to operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting or related field with 6 years of related experience.
• Experience in preparing pricing, bids and proposals.
• Ability to oversee quantity surveys and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors.

Summary

The Senior Estimator is responsible to assemble large dollar bid proposals, while managing an Estimator(s) concurrently in in the assembly of the proposal. The Senior Estimator is also expected to follow-up and negotiate with client to close the deal. For awarded contracts, provides on-going cost estimate support to operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university and 6 yearsof related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
