Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Estimator to assemble large dollar bid proposals and manage Estimators through the proposal process.

The role involves negotiating with clients to close deals and providing ongoing cost estimate support to operations for awarded contracts. The Senior Estimator will guide estimators, oversee quantity take-off, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and prepare pricing, bids, and post-bid activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university and 6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary

The Senior Estimator is responsible to assemble large dollar bid proposals, while managing an Estimator(s) concurrently in in the assembly of the proposal. The Senior Estimator is also expected to follow-up and negotiate with client to close the deal. For awarded contracts, provides on-going cost estimate support to operations.
