Job summary

Linesight in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the development of total project estimates for local building assignments. You will coordinate with project teams, analyze cost drivers and advise on contingency strategies to support bids and execution.

The role requires 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, proficiency with CSA and MEP disciplines, and hands-on use of Estimating software like Accubid, Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator over 5+ years with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment
• Have knowledge of both CSA and MEP disciplines
• Have demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Accubid, Sage Timberline, InEight , or CostX
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline
• Are RICS , CEP or CPE chartered or are on the path to complete it . We can help !
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
• Are detail orientated and quality focused

Work Environment

• This is a local hybrid opportunity in the Tempe, AZ market of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. For non-local candidates, relocation would be required.

The Salary range for this role is $108,000.00 -$145,000.00 USD but actual salary offered is dependent upon experience, education, and skillset.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
