Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate project cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Develop and explain estimate details, including labor hours, personnel requirements, materials, and equipment.
• Identify and develop relationships with qualified subcontractors and suppliers.
• Obtain competitive pricing and manage subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Coordinate with superintendents to support project scheduling and execution.
• Maintain current wage rates, material pricing, and equipment costs.
• Provide timely, accurate reports and project information to management.
• Research upcoming projects and opportunities to evaluate their viability and alignment with company capabilities.
• Utilize Primavera software as needed.
• Support construction teams and maintain strong client relationships.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roadway construction, earthwork, land development, and civil construction, rather than primarily vertical construction. An Engineering degree and design-build experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate project cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Develop and explain estimate details, including labor hours, personnel requirements, materials, and equipment.
• Identify and develop relationships with qualified subcontractors and suppliers.
