Fann Contracting, Inc. in Prescott, AZ is hiring an experienced Heavy-Civil Estimator with DOT, highway paving, mass excavation and pipeline construction experience.

The senior estimator will handle estimates on projects ranging from $1M to $50M, utilizing HCSS HeavyBid software. We offer competitive salary ($95K-$115K) plus performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. degree or equivalent in field and/or lead estimating experience.
• At least 10 years hands-on estimating experience are preferred.
• Experience with HCSS bidding software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate full estimating services on heavy‑civil and heavy‑highway projects.
• Review specifications and plans to ensure accuracy.
• Attend weekly bid meetings and site visits/meetings.
• Verify accuracy of quantity take-offs and prepare preliminary pre‑bid schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier quotes and issue letters of intent.

Now hiring for an experienced Heavy-Civil Estimator with DOT, Highway Paving, Mass Excavation and Pipeline Construction experience. Our family‑owned 65‑year company specializes in mass excavation, rock handling, underground utilities, private and public infrastructure, asphalt paving, aggregate crushing, asphalt hot plant production, and much more. Our projects include public and private entities including ADOT, FHWA, BIA, city and county municipalities, private residential and commercial. As a senior estimator you’ll estimate future jobs ranging from $1 M to $50 M. Candidates should possess a solid working knowledge of HCSS HeavyBid software.

• Work with Contracts and Estimating Departments and administrators to prepare statements of qualifications
• Work to acquire competitive and successful bids
• Coordinate successful bid hand‑offs to project management and job supervisory team

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include an industry‑specific B.S. degree or equivalent work experience both in the field and in a lead estimating role. A minimum of 10 years of hands‑on estimating and knowledge with HCSS bidding software are a plus.
