The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience, the ability to analyze bid documents, and strong skills in cost estimation. Competitive salary and benefits including health insurance and a vehicle allowance are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, equipment, and production rates.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Develop labor, equipment, and material pricing.
• Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Assist in preparing competitive bid proposals and schedules.
• Maintain and update historical cost databases and unit pricing.
• Coordinate with operations staff during project handoff after award.
• Support project managers and field teams with estimating-related information.

This is an in‑office, full‑time position and an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator looking to work with a respected heavy civil and utility contractor.
