Job summary

Gulisek Construction, part of the PJ Dick-Trumbull-The Lindy Group in Western PA, is seeking a Senior Estimator for structures. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering full estimates for complex heavy civil projects—drainage, excavation, concrete, and bridges.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy civil/highway estimating, proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid, and experience with CMAR, design-build, or P3 delivery methods; a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil/highway estimating experience.
• Top-notch estimating skills across drainage, excavation, concrete, and bridge projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery models (CMAR, design-build, P3).
• HCSS Heavy Bid proficiency.
• 4-year engineering degree or a combination of technical training and/or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide full estimates on complex heavy civil projects (drainage, excavation, concrete, bridges).
• Drive alternative delivery pursuits (CMAR, design-build, P3).
• Carry real profit/loss responsibility on projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to refine scopes.

The Role

You'll coordinate and provide full estimates on complex heavy civil projects - drainage, excavation, concrete, and bridge work - while driving alternative delivery pursuits, and carrying real profit/loss responsibility. This is not a background role.
