Job summary

Fisk Electric Company, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Los Angeles, CA office. You will provide estimates, quantity takeoffs and proposal documentation under the direction of the Chief Estimator.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, performing plan measurements, coordinating with vendors, updating material pricing, and supporting pre-bid activities. A Bachelor’s degree and construction estimating experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in construction estimating preferred.
• Ability to perform takeoffs from drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review contract specifications, documents & drawings to perform takeoffs accurately.
• Perform plan measurements to develop and verify quantity estimates.
• Research for and interface with vendors and subcontractors for proposals.
• Update labor rates and material pricing in estimating software.
• Occasional site visits and pre-bid meetings; support other estimating duties as assigned.
