Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an Electrical Field Engineer to provide technical and engineering support ensuring heavy civil construction aligns with design, codes, and project requirements.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate with Superintendents and subcontractors, review plans, develop construction schedules, oversee testing, and assist in monthly progress reporting to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management or similar.
• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience with electrical subcontractors preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction work plan packages and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Execute daily construction plans with Superintendents and Project Manager.
• Review project plans and develop construction schedules.
• Coordinate testing activities and prepare test result reporting.
• Monitor field construction and perform layout checks.
• Assist in monthly reporting for progress payments and schedules.
• Develop and manage relationships with owners, subcontractors and field personnel.
• Ensure quality control and coordinate permits with appropriate entities.

Provides layout checks and technical reviews of work against requirements. Obtains confirmations from design engineer as neededAssist in preparing monthly reporting for progress payments, schedule updates, and problem/issue tracking and resolution.
