Job summary

Advanced Landscape 2000 is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the full estimating process—from conceptual budgets through final bid submissions. You’ll work with project managers, field crews, and clients to ensure every proposal is accurate, competitive, and ready to win.

• Experience in landscape industry with commercial/public sector.
• Experience estimating across all project phases.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven.
• Advanced computer skills, including estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Study civil, architectural, and landscape blueprints and specs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate pricing.
• Prepare estimates at all design stages (conceptual to CD).
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead RFP responses and submit bid proposals.
• Identify technical issues and project logistics early.
• Negotiate with clients and collaborate with project managers.

The Opportunity

As Senior Estimator, you'll play a critical role in driving our growth by leading the full estimating process — from early-stage conceptual budgets through final bid submissions. You'll work closely with project managers, field crews, and clients to ensure every proposal is accurate, competitive, and positions Advanced Landscape 2000 to win.

Responsibilities

• Study and analyze civil, architectural, and landscape blueprints and specifications
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate competitive pricing
• Prepare estimates at all levels of design completion (conceptual, schematic, DD, CD)
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
• Lead RFP responses and prepare and submit bid proposals
• Identify technical issues and project logistics early in the process
• Negotiate with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with project managers for seamless project handoff

What We're Looking For
