D2 Excavation is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive project estimates for residential, commercial, and public works excavation and concrete projects in Eugene, Oregon. This role reviews bid opportunities, analyzes plans and specs, develops cost estimates, coordinates with vendors and subcontractors, and prepares proposals for handoff after award.

• Experience with construction estimating software.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Minimum of two years of estimating experience.

Description

D2 Excavation is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive project estimates for residential, commercial, and public works excavation and concrete projects. This role is responsible for reviewing bid opportunities, analyzing project plans and specifications, developing cost estimates, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, preparing proposals, and supporting project handoff after a project is awarded.
The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, comfortable working with construction documents, and enjoys building repeatable systems and improving estimating processes as the company continues to grow.
The Estimator will be responsible for most company estimates, with the owner providing final review and approval before submission.
This is not a field-work position. The role is intended for an independent, self-motivated estimator who can operate at a senior level.
