Job summary

Applied Training Solutions at Joint Base San Antonio, TX, seeks a Senior Instructor/System Operator (Computer Operator III) to oversee EST II lane execution, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide advanced instruction during training events. You will supervise EST II operations, mentor staff, and ensure accurate AAR playback and documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing and presenting weapons instruction, Train the Trainer support, and detailed feedback.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency operating weapon simulators to include the EST II.
• Knowledge of Windows-based software.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware/software systems.
• Capable of mentoring Computer Operator II staff.
• Ability to obtain CAC and meet installation security requirements.
• Strong leadership and instructional experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate EST II control stations to manage training sequencing and AAR playback.
• Support various drills and exercises for Active, Reserve, and Guard units.
• Control video/audio playback functions to capture AAR teaching points.
• Assist in preparing and presenting weapons instruction.
• Conduct Train the Trainer support.
• Provide detailed shot feedback and corrective instruction.
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance of hardware, consoles, and weapons.
• Load scheduled maintenance into TS-MATS.
• Perform daily upkeep of EST II facility.
• Support Monthly Status Reports.
• Assist Senior Lead in TS‑MATS and usage tracking.
