Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Internal Platforms (Integration & Reporting) to ensure data flows where it needs to, and that Finance gets the required reports from Vultr’s central control plane.

You will own the integration surface and the reporting layer, build ETL/data pipelines between the admin data warehouse, analytics tools, and external ERP systems, and optimize query performance for large financial datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build the reporting infrastructure that Finance and Analytics actually trust (revenue dashboards, margin analysis, accrual reporting, audit trails)
• Design and implement ETL/data pipeline integrations between administer and Vultr’s data warehouse, analytics tools, and any external ERP systems
• Create the API surface and event contracts that let downstream systems consume administer data reliably
• Build reconciliation tooling so Finance can verify data integrity without filing JIRA tickets
• Work with the domain engineer to ensure reporting needs shape the data model, not the other way around
• Implement data quality monitoring and alerting for critical financial data pipelines
• Own the schema and contract versioning strategy for administer’s integration APIs
• Optimize query performance for financial reporting workloads across large datasets
