Job summary

CompassX is seeking an experienced Project Manager for an initial ~5-month independent contractor role to lead an ERP integration program with Oracle E-Business Suite. The role coordinates across distributed teams, manages scope, schedule, and budget, and reports to executives in a waterfall delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Proven project/program management experience on ERP integration or connectivity programs with Oracle EBS preferred.
• Solid grounding in PM fundamentals: planning, risk/issue management, stakeholder mgmt, status reporting, change control.
• Excellent communication skills; able to present to senior leadership and translate progress into business updates.
• Senior/experienced level; able to own a program independently with minimal oversight.
• Fortune 500 client experience, either as a consultant or independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for ERP integration and AI-driven transformation initiatives; coordinate across teams and time zones.
• Own and maintain project plan, schedule, and RAID log; provide status to leadership and steering committees.
• Coordinate with distributed teams, including Europe-based counterparts, to align work across regions.
• Manage scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder communications for an initial ~5-month phase.
• Facilitate governance: status meetings, milestone reviews, change control, and sign-offs.
• Work with technical leads and client stakeholders to keep delivery on track and surface blockers early.
• Manage change requests through a formal process suitable for waterfall delivery.
• Support resource planning and coordination across workstreams.
