Job summary

New River Electrical Corporation is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead the Enterprise Risk Management program and oversee insurance, claims, and contract-risk functions. The role reports to the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and may be based in Strongsville or Granville, Ohio.

You will direct a small Risk & Insurance team, collaborate with finance, operations, safety, HR, and legal, and drive enterprise-wide risk identification, mitigation, and reporting to executives and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in risk management, insurance, finance, business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive risk management, insurance, or claims experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Professional designation preferred: ARM, CPCU, CRM, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Enterprise Risk Management program and report to senior leadership.
• Lead the day-to-day risk and insurance team and own captive insurance feasibility studies.
• Oversee insurance, surety, and claims programs, including renewals and risk allocations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the Risk and Insurance team and coordinate with Legal and Compliance.
