The Hartford's Risk Services team seeks a Senior Ergonomic Consultant to identify musculoskeletal risk, lead ergonomic program implementations, and deliver measurable risk reduction for policyholders.

This role offers remote work with residency in the Northeast or Southeast to effectively support regional operations, clients, and partners, and involves travel to client sites (roughly 20–40%).

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years ergonomic consultations in insurance loss prevention or industry.
• Master's degree in Ergonomics or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a safety-related role; P&C experience desired.
• Professional safety designation (CSP/CIH/CPCU/CFPS/ARM) recommended.
• Ability to handle all survey and service work assignments for all lines of business.
• Strong consultative and reporting skills; able to train and advise on risks.

• Conduct policyholder ergonomic needs assessments to identify risk exposures and improvement opportunities.
• Lead cost-benefit discussions and ROI analyses with decision makers.
• Develop service plans to reduce musculoskeletal claims and improve operations.
• Perform job/workstation evaluations to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Create engineering and administrative controls to reduce injuries and boost productivity.
• Assist insureds in developing policies, programs, and training materials.
• Review and improve ergonomics-related policies and programs for effective implementation.
• Review loss data and trend analyses to target risk sources and reduce injuries.
• Develop tools and deliverables for field consultants and customers focusing on ergonomic priorities.
