The Hartford is seeking a Sr Consultant Risk Engineering to join its Risk Services team. The role partners with clients, underwriters, and distribution partners to identify and mitigate risk across multi-line portfolios, delivering practical, data-driven risk mitigation and engaging in sales, renewal, and stewardship activities.

Remote work is available, but candidates must reside in the DFW area to support regional operations; travel to client sites and meetings is expected (20–40%).

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive experience in risk engineering, safety, loss control, or related consulting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) strongly preferred in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management, Environmental Health, or related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Act as a strategic risk advisor partnering with clients to identify emerging risks and co-create mitigation solutions.
• Tailor recommendations to client industry, risk profile, and business priorities.
• Conduct risk assessments across multi-line insurance using onsite, hybrid, and virtual delivery models.
• Develop data-driven service plans addressing loss drivers and client objectives.
• Translate technical findings into clear insights for clients, agents, and underwriting partners.
• Leverage digital tools and AI-enabled insights to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, sales, data, and technical experts to deliver integrated risk solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand Risk Services offerings and support profitable growth.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay current on industry trends and evolving technologies.
• Mentor and coach less experienced risk engineering consultants.
