Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a per diem Senior ED Technician in Reno, NV. You will support direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring patient safety and smooth department flow.

Qualifications

• Current AEMT Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Prefer one year of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
• Takes, documents, and reports vital signs. Reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
• Transports patients to other departments and inpatient units as necessary.
• Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.
