Job summary

Northern Nevada Health System's Sierra Medical Center in Reno is seeking a Senior ED Technician for a per diem schedule to support the Emergency Department team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and help maintain a safe, prepared care environment.

Responsibilities include taking and reporting vital signs, transporting patients, and assisting with moving and lifting patients.

Qualifications

• Current AEMT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year of acute care experience.

Job Summary

This Senior ED Technician opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual who will assist with direct patient care needs based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. The Technician maintains an environment that is prepared for patient care.
