Job summary

Citi's Equity Research team in New York is seeking a Senior Associate to support the lead analyst covering U.S. Multi-Industry and Engineering & Construction sectors.

You will contribute to building financial models, drafting publication content, and delivering independent investment insights for institutional clients worldwide. The role emphasizes strong modeling and valuation skills, experience in equity research, and the ability to work with AI-enabled research methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting fundamentals, and corporate finance.
• Experience building financial models and performing company valuation analyses (DCF, comps, etc.).
• Active holding of, or eligibility to obtain, SIE, Series 63, Series 86, Series 87 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for U.S. Multi-Industry and Engineering & Construction sectors.
• Draft and co-author equity research publications and industry reports.
• Analyze company fundamentals, industry trends, and investment themes to identify risks and opportunities.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and coordinate investor meetings and events.
• Apply AI tools to enhance research workflows and efficiency.
