Citizens Bank in Westwood, MA seeks a Senior Equity Analyst to cover a broad U.S. large-cap universe as a sector generalist. You will independently set research agendas, develop and defend investment ideas, and contribute to a small, collaborative team while supporting wealth advisors.

You will author research, provide stock pitches, and utilize AI tools and advanced Excel to scale insights with strong judgment and oversight.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of direct single-stock research experience covering U.S. equities.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, forecasts, and valuation work.
• Deep knowledge of the U.S. large-cap universe and sector breadth.
• Ability to generate and defend investment ideas to senior investors.
• Strong investment writing and presentation skills.
• Experience presenting to advisors or large audiences.
• CFA designation and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth bottom-up research on U.S. large-cap equities with financial modeling.
• Originate data-backed investment ideas for equity strategies and advisors.
• Deliver stock pitches and research that shape strategy ownership.
• Serve as a senior equity resource to advisors firmwide on stocks and macro developments.
• Author earnings commentary, investment write-ups, and white papers.
• Apply AI tools to scale research while using judgment and oversight.
• Excel-based data organization to support strategy objectives and due diligence.
• Maintain ongoing research discipline and deepen coverage over time.
