Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MS or CFA a plus.
• 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience, Networking or Optical hardware.
• Deep understanding of networking/optical equipment landscape and industry contacts.
• FINRA Series 86 and 87 licenses required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; publishing research.
• Solid financial statement analysis and advanced financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain detailed earnings and valuation models for networking/optical equipment.
• Analyze industry trends and translate them into actionable investment conclusions.
• Publish weekly and monthly research publications read by institutional investors.
• Develop marketing materials and represent team views to clients and sales.
• Build relationships with company management and industry contacts; provide insider perspective.
• Communicate stock views to investors and internal desks with ownership commensurate with seniority.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to research process and coverage strategy.
• Perform other duties as required.
