Job summary

Wedbush Securities is seeking a Senior Analyst in Equity Research focused on Semiconductors with an emphasis on Capital Equipment & Test. You will own comprehensive earnings and valuation models, shape industry views, and publish research relied upon by institutional investors.

The role requires 5–10+ years in the sector, deep knowledge of equipment/test dynamics, and FINRA licenses. You will interact with management teams and contribute to a high-visibility research franchise that informs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; MBA, MS or CFA a plus.
• 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience in semiconductors or capital equipment coverage.
• Deep understanding of the capital equipment and test landscape with established industry contacts.
• Active FINRA Series 86 and 87 licenses required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with publishing research experience.
• High fluency in accounting and financial statement analysis; strong modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain earnings and valuation models across the capital equipment and test universe.
• Analyze industry trends and translate them into differentiated, actionable investment conclusions.
• Produce weekly and monthly written research publications read by institutional investors.
• Develop marketing materials and present team views to clients and institutional salespeople.
• Build and maintain relationships with company management teams and industry contacts.
