Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in North Charleston, SC seeks a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment. You’ll join a safety-focused team and develop skills for a career path in service or operations management.

Required: high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in diesel/heavy equipment repair, strong hydraulic and electrical system knowledge, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
