Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a Senior Transportation/Equipment Services Technician in Thornton, CO. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on fleet and off-road equipment, loading and transporting gear and fuel to sites, and training users in proper, safe operation of equipment.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus automotive/small engine repair education and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Additional education in automotive technician program and/or small engine/equipment repair program preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in off road, gas, diesel or electric-powered facilities, maintenance equipment repair, and/or small engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and inspections of off road, gas, diesel or electric powered facility maintenance equipment.
• Load and transport equipment and fuel to and from schools and other facilities; demonstrate safe use of equipment.
• Repair and maintain custodial, parks and grounds equipment and maintain fuel records.
• Inspect, diagnose parts, verify parts availability, and process work orders; ensure safety and compliance.
