Job summary

DELFI Diagnostics is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Lifecycle Lead to manage the full spectrum of equipment, automation hardware, and software in our clinical laboratory setting. You will establish practices, ensure reliability and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, IT, and external suppliers to support IVD/LDT assays.

Qualifications

BS degree or higher in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field.
8-10 years of laboratory equipment maintenance in regulated production.
Experience leading equipment service, engineering, or similar technical programs; people-management preferred.
Experience with high-throughput laboratory operations and automated systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain equipment management policies, SOPs, and processes per IVD/LDT requirements.
Own the electronic equipment inventory system and ensure qualification, calibration, maintenance, and service records are complete.
Manage suppliers and service contracts, including budgeting and capital planning.
Establish equipment support strategies to meet current and future capacity needs.
Lead cross-functional partnerships to implement and maintain equipment and automation systems, including qualification and change control.
