Job summary

DELFI Diagnostics, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Lifecycle Leader to manage a broad range of lab equipment, automation hardware, and software supporting production in our Clinical Laboratory setting.

You will provide technical and program leadership, ensuring equipment is reliable, compliant, and supported throughout its lifecycle, partnering with Quality, Regulatory, Assay Development, Automation, IT, and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in life sciences, engineering or related field is required.
• 8–10 years maintaining and servicing laboratory equipment in a regulated production setting.
• Experience leading equipment service, laboratory engineering, facilities/equipment, or similar technical programs; people management is preferred.
• Experience supporting high-throughput laboratory operations and complex automated systems.
• Strong knowledge of equipment lifecycle management including installation, qualification, maintenance, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain equipment management policies, SOPs, and processes per IVD/LDT regulatory requirements.
• Own the electronic equipment inventory system and ensure complete, accurate records.
• Manage equipment vendors, service contracts, and escalation of service issues; support budgeting and capital planning.
• Establish equipment support strategies to meet current and future laboratory capacity.
• Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting complex equipment and automation issues.
