Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a skilled mechanical technician to perform advanced mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment across multiple locations, including engines, compressors and turbines. The role requires troubleshooting, interpretation of maintenance records and safe operation per company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in use and function of hand and power tools and equipment applicable to position.
• Advanced experience in troubleshooting equipment abnormalities and failure modes analysis.
• Experience reading and interpreting work and repair orders, drawings, charts, diagrams, dials, gauges, warranties, quotations, procedures and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various locations, including engines, compressors, pumps, generators, turbines and valves.
• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment; conduct and interpret performance analyses.
• Train and direct employees involved in mechanical work.
• Order and secure parts and supplies.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles; keep logs, service orders and inspection reports up to date.
• Responsibilities may include DOT-related duties and safety compliance.
