The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program is seeking an experienced Engineer Equipment Mechanic Sr. to maintain and repair diesel engines and a range of construction equipment including 50 Ton cranes, container handlers, and 10k forklifts.

The role emphasizes MVAC system troubleshooting, safety, and hands-on leadership. The position requires high school completion, six years of related work, relevant course certifications, and the ability to obtain necessary clearances.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six years of related work experience.
• Completion of Basic Engineer Program Mechanics Course or equivalent.
• MVAC course completion and valid certificate required.
• Valid state driver license and CAC/Base access eligibility.
• Ability to read manuals and use measurement tools.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair MVAC systems and engine-driven equipment.
• Perform maint/repair on heavy equipment (cranes, forklifts, tractors).
• Lead and train lower level mechanics as needed.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and time schedules.
